Snowshoe Vermont
Snowshoe Vermont! There's no  greater and less expensive snow sport than heading into the woods on snowshoes! All you need is a little preparation, and common sense. DON'T DO IT ALONE!  And, it doesn't get any better than in the Green Mountain National Forest.  Also, check out Vermont's 300 mile Catamount Trail - it's open for snowshoeing. Note: Many Cross Country Touring Centers allow snowshoeing... and rent equipment.
